Speech Therapy
Helena Regional Medical Center offers a number of speech therapy services with a wide variety of techniques and programs designed to help people communicate better. We consider treatment a collaboration: therapy staff work with physicians, dietitians and nurses to evaluate patients’ swallowing function and recommend safe feeding tactics when needed.
Helena Regional Medical Center offers both inpatient and outpatient speech therapy services. We treat patients of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics. We frequently treat patients following a stroke, patients who have experienced head injury, patients diagnosed with a swallowing disorder, and children with speech/language deficits.
We provide a comprehensive program for patients requiring the evaluation and treatment of disorders related to needs including:
